Student Spotlight: Abigail Ruhlmann
Abigail Ruhlmann is a sixth grader at Central Christian School and is in Mrs. Martinson’s class. This is her second year to be at CCS. She has an older brother, Joshua, who is in the 9th grade at CCS and an older sister, Michaela, who is a junior at Hutch High.
Mrs. Martinson describes Abigail as “an excellent student who pays attention in class, completes assignments well and on time and contributes to class discussions. Besides her academic achievements, she is involved in extracurricular activities such as playing the clarinet in the band, volleyball, basketball, track, voice lessons and performing in the community theater. Most importantly, she has a heart to serve God and evangelize in order to build His kingdom. She demonstrates this in her interactions with others and also in schoolwork.” A favorite for Abigail at CCS is also attending the discipleship group led by Mrs. Rich which has enriched her knowledge and walk with Christ.
Abigail has four pets that she enjoys playing with: Chessie, Ranger, O’Malley and Trigger. Her mom states that Abigail spends her free time by reading, singing, performing in theater, riding horses, riding her bike and just having fun with her friend and family. Recently, she had the opportunity to be involved with the Children’s Family Theater in Hutchinson where she played the character, Mary, in the play “Laura Ingalls Wilder’s Voice on the Prairie.”
